Cybersecurity, forensics and reputation: your questions answered
Straight answers about what Cyber Multimedia Solutions does, what it costs and what we can and cannot promise.
What does Cyber Multimedia Solutions do?
Cyber Multimedia Solutions (CMS) is a cybersecurity, digital forensics and online reputation company based in Kampala, Uganda. Our main services are digital forensics and investigations, online reputation management, stolen phone recovery, WhatsApp account recovery, and employee security awareness and social engineering testing. We also offer cybersecurity, penetration testing, social media account recovery and fake account takedowns, digital marketing, web development, content creation, influencer and PR support, branding, IT consulting and cyber law advisory.
Where is CMS based and who do you serve?
We are based in Kampala, Uganda. We serve individuals, businesses and law firms across Uganda and East Africa, and work remotely with international clients.
How much do your services cost?
Prices are starting points in British pounds and are confirmed in a written quote before work begins. Digital forensics starts from £5,000, online reputation management from £500, stolen phone recovery from £300 (iCloud route) or £600 (IMEI route), WhatsApp account recovery from £300, and employee security awareness and social engineering testing from £1,000.
Is the first consultation free?
No. A consultation costs £100. It is non-refundable, and it is credited to your invoice if you go ahead with the work.
Can you guarantee that a hacked WhatsApp account or a stolen phone will be recovered?
No honest provider can. Recovery depends on the platform, the device and the actions already taken. We assess your case first, tell you the realistic chances, and only then ask you to proceed.
Can you guarantee that negative content will be removed from the internet?
No. Platforms and publishers decide what stays up. We document the content, file reports and legal notices where grounds exist, and publish accurate material to improve what people see when they search for you. We do not promise deletion.
Can your digital forensics reports be used in court?
We preserve evidence with verified copies, keep a documented chain of custody and write reports that separate fact from expert opinion. Whether evidence is admitted is decided by the court. We are not a law firm and our reports are not legal advice, but we work with lawyers and can support expert testimony.
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. We treat every case as private, share information only with people you approve, and can work under a signed confidentiality agreement.
Do you work with people outside Uganda?
Yes. Most of our work can be done remotely. Where physical devices are involved we agree secure handling with you first.
